'Indian cuisine- Bhog Prasad' - by K J S Chatrath

Indian Postal Department deserves to be complimented for bringing out these excellent theme based stamps. However one wishes the Department had clarified that these are samples of  'Hindu' Bhog Prasad,  as India being a proudly multi-religious society there are Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Jain, Budhist etc religious places visited by adherents of those faiths who make offerings in different ways. For example Karah Prashad is a sanctified offering served after every Sikh worship service
